There is a quick way to check the CPU speed and amount of RAM available on a computer. Here are the instructions:

  1. Click 'Start'.
  2. Click 'Control Panel'.
  3. Click 'Switch To Classic View' if you have not done so already.
  4. Double-click the 'System' icon. From there you will be able to see the current version of Windows, the CPU type and speed and how much RAM the system has.
