Here are some reasons for holding off on installing Vista, at least for the time being: 

1) Problems with DRM.

2)  Security problems and bugs found in the first week. 

3) Too soon to switch to something that has not had many of its bugs discovered.

4) The driver support for gaming and power apps is only in its infancy, as is the Vista OS itself.
